Does WickedWhims have drugs?
Drugs – The most prominent feature of the mod is its range of drugs for sims to experiment with. The list includes cannabis (weed), tobacco, cocaine, amphetamine, shrooms, MDMA, ayahuasca, xanax, lean, adderall, LSD, and steroids. The mod also includes edits to mixology that adds new drink recipes, as well as the ability for sims to become drunk, and even alcoholics.
The drugs are acquired in differing and semi-realistic ways, with not all being available for purchase in buy mode. The only drugs available in buy mode are cocaine, amphetamine, MDMA, and tobacco. Cannabis seeds are included for gardening (incorrectly categorized in Indoor Plants, rather than with the other seed packets in Outdoor Activities), as well as rolling papers, weed curing jars, and bongs.
Drugs can form addictions (which will result in an addiction moodlet for the affected sim), and repeated use of drugs in a short period of time can result in a sim’s death by overdose. If WickedWhims is installed, sims can pay dealers for drugs with sex.

Were Sims 4 whims removed?
You’ve probably noticed something strange and missing in Live Mode after installing The Sims 4’s latest update. Yup, the thought bubbles above your Sim’s thumbnail, also known as Whims, are not automatically disabled from the game. 
However, the feature wasn’t fully removed from the game – it was just disabled along with the introduction of a new section in Game Options. To bring back Whims, go to Options > Gameplay > Show Whims. Ticking the box will bring back the Whims feature in your game. 
You’ll be able to play and earn Satisfaction Points once again after enabling this feature. It’s not known why the feature has been automatically disabled in the first place considering that Whims were one of the main ways to earn Satisfaction Points for the Satisfaction Rewards.

How do you disable condoms on WickedWhims?
Birth Control – Condoms and Birth Control Pills can be purchased through the WickedWhims menu on any computer. The items you purchase will arrive to your Sim’s home mailbox. Depending on what day and time you order them they will come with the rest of the mail.
Your Sim will need to retrieve them from the mailbox and open them in their inventory. Using these items from your Sim inventory can help prevent pregnancy. Birth Control Auto-Use is enabled by default but can be changed in the Pregnancy Settings menu. You can also disable Condoms and Birth Control Pills auto-use for a specific Sim by clicking on the item in that Sim’s inventory.
Birth Control Pills and Condoms need to be placed in the appropriate inventory for correct auto-use. Birth Control Pills should be put in those Sims inventories who have menstrual cycles. Condoms can be put in anyone’s inventory for use when needed. Both forms of birth control by default are not perfect and have a chance to fail.
This can be set in the Sex Settings menu under the Pregnancy Settings menu. With Realistic Mode set in the Sex Settings under the Pregnancy Settings menu, Condoms have a base 5% chance to fail, while Birth Control Pills have a 9% chance to fail. Birth Control Pills have a gradual gain and loss effect, and must be taken at least 3 days in a row to get the full effect.
Sims fully on Birth Control Pills no longer have to worry about pads or tampons during their period as well. With Perfect Mode set in the Sex Settings under the Pregnancy Settings menu, all forms of birth control cannot fail. Sims with the Clumsy or Lazy trait are more likely to impregnate and be impregnated.

What happens if you delete Localthumbcache Sims 4?
You may have noticed that the more you play The Sims 4, the longer your loading screens will last. This issue is caused by Cache Files collecting as you progress through the game. These files serve it’s purpose as a faster way of loading in-game thumbnails (such as families, houses etc.) and they are created each time you load something “new”. As you add more custom content and mods for the game, you’ll notice that your Cache Files are getting bigger. Luckily, these Cache Files can be deleted. To do so, open your Documents folder (or a folder where your The Sims 4 Save Game folder is), Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. There’ you’ll find a folder called “cache” and a file named localthumbcache. 
Feel free to delete the localthumbcache file! When it comes to the cache folder, open it and delete everything that’s inside of it * except* the FileCache.cfg file ! 
You’ll immediately notice how your game loads much more smooth and faster. I advise that you delete cache files every 5-7 days (especially after you download/remove custom content). For more information about Cache files, visit Crinrict’s post !

What do I do if my Sims 4 file is corrupted?
It sounds like you may have some outdated mods/cc. If that’s the case you might try taking your Mods folder out from the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and move them to the desktop or some where else safe, and try the game again. Delete the localthumbcache. package from the Sims 4 folder.

What is error code exception?
Exception – The term is shorthand for the phrase exception event, It is an event that occurs during the execution of the program and interrupts the normal flow of program instructions. These are the errors that occur at compile time and run time. It occurs in the code written by the developers.
When an error is detected, an exception is thrown. Any exception that is thrown must be caught by the exception handler. If the programmer has forgotten to provide an exception handler, the exception will be caught by the catch-all exception handler provided by the system. Exception may be rethrown if exception handler is failure to handle it.
Can I delete exception txt?

How do you know if CC is broken Sims 4?
1) Manually Delete CC Files One by One – Yes, the first method of finding broken CC in Sims 4 and removing is the good old “search and delete.” Of course, this is the hardest and the most troublesome way of doing this for two main reasons. First, it takes a lot of time.
And second, you might end up deleting all the mods and CC that you love. And I do NOT recommend this way if you’re a total beginner in Sims 4! But if you still want to try and find the culprit among your CC files manually, here’s what you need to do. Go to your “Mods” folder and open it. Here you can see all of your installed mods and CC.
Delete the first folder, then jump into the game to check whether the issue is still there. If it’s not – congratulations, you’ve deleted the broken CC file. But if the problem is still there – you’ll need to repeat the process over and over again. The fewer mods and CC you have installed, the easier this method is.
- But as we all like to try out new stuff all the time, it’s understandable if you have a long list that you don’t even want to get rid of.
- Eep in mind that you don’t have to delete all mods from beginning to end if you know exactly which CC file causes the problem.
- For example, if you see that a skin overlay CC is causing glitches in the CAS menu, you won’t have to delete MC Command Center,
Instead, go over the skin CC you’ve downloaded only.

How do I clean my Sims 4 save file?
Keeping Your The Sims 4 Folder Tidy: Saves Hey guys! Today I wanted to talk about how I like to keep my “Saves Folder” nice and tidy. I suggest printing this out because I got very wordy in my attempt to make sure I explained all the steps completely. So, why is it important to back up your saves and have them neatly organized? Have you ever had a save become corrupted? Have you ever had a save inexplicably vanish? Then you have experienced the heart wrenching pain of losing a favorite Sim (and their family).
- Eeping your “Saves Folder” tidy will help prevent this from happening.
- So, let’s get started! Shall we? Step 1: Open your “Saves Folder” located in your Sims 4 folder in your documents.
- Next you will select everything in that folder (including the scratch folder more on that later).
- Then you will copy/paste all of this into a folder somewhere else on your computer.
If you have read any of my other tutorials, you will know how big I am on keeping things organized. I suggest naming this folder as follows.
- TS4 Saves
- –Original (stick all of your stuff in here that you just copied)
- –Base Saves (this is what you are about to make and I have tons of them since I’m always redoing things)
- —–Unpopulated (this is for you builders out there)
- ———Date (or number; I actually have mine like so, WB Unpop 1, WB Unpop 2, and so on)
- —–Populated
- ———Date (or number; I actually have mine like so, WB Pop 1, WB Pop 2, and so on)
Now that you have set things up and copy/pasted your original “Saves Folder” to this safe place, you are ready to start organizing. It’s tedious but super easy, so hang in there. Step 2: Delete everything in your saves folder, do it! You did save everything like I told you, right? So don’t worry and just delete it all.
- Next drag your mods, tray, and screenshots somewhere safe because they need to be out of there.
- You are making a clean save so once you are done, delete your Sims 4 folder.
- As long as you took the steps I outlined above (copied your saves, moved your mods, tray, and screenshots then you have nothing to worry about and it’s all safe).
Once you have done all that, go to Origin and click on repair game. Finally, launch your game to generate an all new and sparkly clean Sims 4 folder. Step 3: Exit your game. At this point, decide if you want a base save that is completely clean of everything or if you want one that has mods/CC in it.
If you want one clean, then leave your mods folder where you placed it. If you want one that isn’t, drag those things things back into your Sims 4 folder (not the original “Saves Folder” though, that will not be put back). I always make myself a base save that is mod/cc free but it’s up to you what you want to do.
I also have my own lots so I go ahead and put them and all my own NPC Sims into my tray. Delete your localthumbscache.package (especially important if your putting your mods folder back in). Launch the game and select a Sim to place in this save via CAS and then go live and make your changes.
- I usually delete all the pre-mades and move that CAS sim out of the lot I placed them in so they’re now homeless.
- Then I delete all the buildings since I like to use my own.
- Once you are done and you have a completely empty world (or set up the way you want), then you will click on “save as”.
- Delete whatever shows up there and name it whatever you want; mine would be WB Unpop 1.
Save again. Alt + Tab out of your game and go to your Sims 4 Saves Folder. Copy everything there (including the scratch folder) and then paste all that into the folder that you made previously for this save. Now alt+tab back into your game and set up your townies (again, I’m showing you the way I do this but you might want to set up things differently).
Once they’re all in place and you have clicked on every household (with the game paused so that time stays at 8am on Sunday), then you can save this as your populated save. Click on “save as” and again delete whatever save shows up, I will name this one WB Pop 1. Alt+tab out of your game, copy everything in your Sims 4 Saves Folder (including the scratch folder), paste it all into your folder that you named for this save (it should be a different folder from your one above).
Step 4A: Swapping between new saves. Now that everything is nice and tidy, you can play this save. Remember to every Sim week or so to save a copy of your current save to the folder that you created for it. However, let’s say you want to start a new save? How would you do that? Since everything is set up already, it’s easy to do and no longer requires hours to get things ready.
Make sure you copy/pasted everything in your current save to that folder that you made for it. Now, delete the files in your Sims 4 Saves Folder (DO NOT TOUCH THAT SCRATCH FOLDER!). Go to your base saves folder and copy/paste whichever one you want (the unpopulated one or the populated one) into your Sims 4 Saves Folder ( except the scratch folder ).
There should be nothing in there other than these files (and the scratch folder that you DID NOT DELETE). Launch your game, look around and make sure it’s all there as you want (because if you deleted that scratch folder, chances are good that it won’t be).
- Set up your new game and then do a “save as”.
- Delete whatever shows up and name it whatever you want.
- Alt+tab out of your game and go to your Sims 4 Saves Folder.
- Delete everything in there (DO NOT TOUCH THAT SCRATCH FOLDER!).
- Alt+tab back into your game and do another “save as”, name it what you had named it a second ago.
Do TWO MORE SAVES! Then alt+tab out of your game and check to make sure that the game generated at least 6 files (not counting the scratch folder). Copy/paste all of this into a folder that you make outside the Sims 4 folder for this save.
- Mine would look like so:

- —-Start (This is where I will put the files from above when I first started this save, go ahead and put a copy of that scratch folder in here.)
- —-Week 1 (Copy/paste all the files labeled slot into here but not the scratch folder and so on for the following weeks.)

- Step 4B:
- Swapping between existing saves.
If you want to play a different save then you will make sure that you copy/pasted everything in your Sims 4 Saves Folder to your folder named for that save (remember each save grouping needs to be in a different folder). Then you will delete everything in your Sims 4 Saves Folder (don’t you touch that scratch folder!).
- Next go to the folder of the save you want to play (the latest save) and copy/paste all of that (except the scratch folder) into your Sims 4 Saves Folder.
- Launch your game and take a look around.
- If you did things right, it should all be there and ready to go.
- Don’t forget to copy/paste the files from this save to your folder outside the Sims 4 folder that you created (every save grouping should have it’s own folder).
A word on the scratch folder. This folder contains all your lot information. Consider it pre-loading. It’s there so when you go to the lots you don’t have to wait for them to load to your game. If you delete this folder then you will could lose all your lots.
They will not be there when you load your game. The reason I am having you copy this when you set things up is so that it’s there if things go wrong later. When you are swapping between saves, you shouldn’t need to do a thing to that scratch folder in your Sims 4 Saves Folder. You copied it just for protection in case something happens.

Why can’t I use wicked whims?
The most common mistakes happen to everybody, so check them regardless of your pride and computer knowledge – Don’t put or extract WickedWhims files into folders, the game won’t be able to find the mod. Files structure of mods is extremely strict and putting mod files into too many folders will cause the game to not find them.
If the files are two folders deep or more, you need to fix that! Keep WickedWhims files directly in the Mods folder! The limit is one folder deep! Your mods will be disabled after game patches, and you are required to enable them manually. Every single time the game gets updated, all of your mods will be disabled automatically.
You have to open Game Options, enable mods, apply changes, turn off the game, and then turn on the game again. Check out the Manual Installation page for more information on how to enable mods in the Game Options. Mods will simply ruin your whole game if you don’t keep them updated.
- The biggest issues are always from using outdated or broken mods that affect the working ones in unpredictable ways and eventually break your game.
- After downloading and installing custom content, you always have to assume that you have broken mods,
- Eeping your game updated is really important as well, and you can find what versions of the game are supported by WickedWhims at the Download page.
Archives (ZIP, RAR, 7z) have to be extracted or the mod will not be loaded by the game. The game only accepts PACKAGE and TS4SCRIPT files. If you put any other files into the ‘Mods’ folder, nothing will happen. Most operating systems will automatically allow you to open ZIP files without any additional software.
